This shot was taken on the south end of Denman Island. We met an Australian tourist with a Nikon camera who told us about this eagle and the nest. I regret not getting his name and email address now. I'd like to see how his shots turned out. I used a 200mm lens and this is a crop. I'd like a 300 or 400mm lens, but I wouldn't use it much and I don't want to carry another big lens. Maybe I'll get a 2x extender instead.
