When I go to Vancouver I usually stop at Dr Sun Yat Sen's Garden because it's a peaceful and interesting place for photos (this is the third or fourth one I've posted from there). This time I was visiting Vancouver with my Dad to see Lee Scratch Perry in concert. My Dad is a huge fan but he's never seen Lee Perry live, so I got tickets and told him to meet me in Vancouver. We were right up front for most of the show and it was amazing. They wouldn't let anyone with "professional looking cameras" in so my camera stayed at the hotel and the only photos I have are from my camera phone (I'll post those on flickr eventually). When I have my camera at events I'm too busy taking pictures to enjoy myself, so I didn't really mind leaving the camera behind.
