indian fruit seller

I ate a banana from a fruit seller in another part of India. It was ripe, but still firm, which is odd compared to the bananas that ride on boats to get to North America which can be firm or ripe, but not both. Squishy and nearly flavourless isn't my thing so I'm indifferent to bananas; I prefer papayas, oranges and other tropical fruits. Fresh fruit in porridge is my favourite breakfast in India... I should probably make it at home too.
