I guess this is more a photo of a photo, but it's so strange that it's worth posting. While staying in Kolkata, we visited the Oxford book store so much that the guard recognized me and stopped asking to hold my camera bag. Did I mention that a lot of shops in India (the ones with actual doors on the front) have a security guard at the front who takes your shopping bags and backpacks and gives you a numbered token so you can pick them up on the way out?

Anyway, after walking around outside for hours, then walking around the book shop for a while, we'd go upstairs to the coffee shop to rest our feet. The coffee and tea was a bit expensive, but the second floor was walkways suspended over the first floor, so you could still watch people shop for books or watch people walk on the sidewalk outside too. People watching is fun anywhere, perhaps even more so in India because of the diversity of people. This picture of the man reading in an outdoor bathtub is on the wall. What's your ideal way to read books? Have you considered an outdoor bathtub, stacks of books and a bottle of bubbly? No? Maybe you should think about it a bit more...
